re:make and urban air market this weekend

hello typeliters!

we’re so excited for this weekend, because we’ve got not one, but TWO shows!! it’s double the type.lites fix, and we hope you’re ready!

saturday we will be at the brit+co re:make festival at fort mason from 11am to 6pm. there will be lots of DIY workshops going on, as well an amazing group of makers for the day to celebrate technology and the future of creating. we are thrilled to be a part of the brit+co family, so be sure to check us out on their re:make site.

on sunday, we’ll be back at our favorite outdoor event, urban air market from 11am to 6pm. you can find us at booth #47 on octavia at hayes street in hayes valley. we’re hoping for picturesque san francisco weather, perfect for a stroll through this adorable neighborhood.

hope you can join us at one or both of these events this weekend!

this sunday: urban air market and our first instacontest!

Happy Thursday, type.liters!

We are crazily prepping for this Sunday’s Urban Air Market in Hayes Valley. This is one of our favorite outdoor fairs every season and we’re hoping the weather cooperates again so everyone can enjoy the festivities in the sunshine. If you were around last spring, you may remember we had a little voting booth for our next fragrance and this year we’ve got some tough contenders for voting. We can’t wait to see which fragrance takes top pick!

In addition, we’ll be holding our first ever insta-contest, starting Sunday! We want to see how you see type.lites. We’ll be announcing prizes this weekend as well, so get ready!

To enter:

1. follow us on instagram here,

2. take a photo of your type.lites candle(s) and hashtag it with #mytypelites. You can enter as many times as you want!

Easy, right?? We’ll be regraming the winners on our instagram, as well as posting them to the blog next week. Can’t wait to see what you all come up with!

capsuleSF recap

we couldn’t have asked a better first experience at capsuleSF this past Sunday! not only did the show run super smoothly, but the weather was FANTASTIC – we’re still in awe of what a beautiful, clear day it was in hayes valley.  to top it off, lots of people were outside roaming around and sniffing our little ol’ candles. here’s a peek at our booth and our lovely neighbors wendy and andrea of w.ho made it. only thing missing… pics of the delectable pastries we chowed down on all day from la boulange… yummm.

the lovely ladies (and mascot, lola!) of w.ho made it. just can’t get enough of their delightful vintage teacup jewelry stands, had to take one home!

a special shoutout to amanda, jalia, tony, and stace for their involuntary intern services. finally, thank you capsuleSF, hayes valley and mother nature for making our first outdoor fair a huge success. see you all next time!
