pantone color of the year: emerald

Today’s the day type liters!

We’re unveiling images from a little photo shoot we did with the wonderful and talented Christina Smith, Priscilla Francine and Jackie Rose. It was inspiring working with these talented women and our stunning and fearless models, Kelly and Olivia. Inspired by Pantone’s color of the year, Jackie sifted through her expansive wardrobe and found some lovely frocks for the ladies while the lovely Priscilla dolled them up. Our photographer extraordinaire for the day, Christina picked our location and Crystal was able to do some prop setup and get the scene set. Lots of vintage, giggling and fun ensued. Turns out our emerald shoot could also double for an intro to our new type.lites traveling sales team!

we’re loving the results from the shoot. if you’re in need of some creative talents, here they are:

recap: unique sf

happy thursday type.liters! hope your 4th was full and fun.

this past weekend we set up at uniquesf at the concourse exhibition center and had a great time. after much preparation, we were super excited to debut a a new fragrance and new booth setup, as well as hang out with some of our favorite fellow vendors from around the bay and southern california.

we featured genevieve of le petit elefant on our blog in april and our obsession with her adorable prints continues. and boy were we excited when she stopped by our booth!

our friends from genuine haha and intwined were in attendance, both of which starred in our spot.lites (here and here, respectively).

of course we couldn’t go through the weekend without doing a little shopping for ourselves. check out the name plates we had custom made by the urban smith.

special thanks to sonja and the unqiuesf crew, as well as to our numerous interns who helped us get our booth together. we couldn’t have done it without you!

finally, we are announcing the winners of our raffle: zach and lisa! congrats to our lucky winners, who will both receive $50 to use at our online shop.

recap: urban air market

sunday was already a gorgeous day to be outside, so it was a bonus that we got to be in hayes valley for the urban air market. formerly called capsule, we loved this event when we participated in september.

this time we were joined by 130+ local designers and artisans – we had a great time in the sunshine and meeting all of our lovely fans, old and new! here’s a recap of some of our favorites… stay tuned for results from our first ever fragrance poll!

isobell designer melody was a busy lady! she had lots of wonderful trinkets in her booth, and we fell in love with them instantly. they didn’t last long, can you see why?

we really couldn’t help falling in love with jakc designs food plushies. adorable and each one with their own expression, designer jen has given food new life. we loved the pickles, the dumplings, the hamburgers, the sandwiches – we love them all! not to mention her adorable onesies… the jakc booth spelled trouble for us!

our beloved ellen from pretty penny had her angelcake jewelry for sale as well. boy were we happy to see another familiar face!

another hayes valley event down. we’ll see you next time urban air market, it’s been a blast!

blogshop sf

now that i’ve finally having a chance to catch my breath and reflect on the excitement of the last few days, i have to tell you about my incredible weekend interning for bri and angela‘s blogshop. after spending 2 full days watching these talented ladies teach the ins and outs of photoshop, i can say with full confidence that they sure do know their stuff!

the class (some had never opened photoshop) learned everything from animating gifs to creating mood boards to skin retouching. it was great to see their skills evolve over the 2 days.

after being surrounded by so much creative energy and enthusiasm i’m still on inspiration overload and feel lucky to have been part of this amazing workshop. thanks to bri and angela for the opportunity! keep up the great work ladies!

sign up here to snag a spot in a blogshop in your city. i highly recommend it! hope all of you are having a productive week. get out there and get inspired!
